October 2011

It’s raining pretty hard and Kela and Dan are still asleep so I don’t want to wake them up, I guess I just have to get we today. :/

Oct 31, 2011

Today is the kind of day I loathe. I don’t mind riding in the rain if it means that I get to change in the end, but having to ride in the chilly rain and to be at school till 9 PM really blows. Bring it on mother nature, I’m packing a set of spare clothes and my Banjo Brothers backpack is water-proof.

Oct 31, 2011

Today was nice, except for the brain melting, stomach churning hangover that lazter through most of the day. I chilled all day and now I’m in bed with Mogwai playing.

Oct 30, 2011

It’s 6:41 PM and two out of three people in our household is still hung-over. I am the 66.6%. :)

Oct 30, 2011

I’m never drinking again.

Who wants to ride out to Goodwill with me? I need to bring back an old Halloween costume due to a lack of funds.

Since the NYPD and Fire Department have just seized electric generators from the Occupy Wall Street encampment at Zuccotti Park -- citing a "fire hazard" -- I guess they're going to go around and do the same to the hundreds of food vendors around New York City that also use generators at their carts, right? → The city has stripped Occupy Wall Street protesters of their power. Dozens of firefighters and police officers entered Zuccotti Park Friday morning to confiscate generators and gas canisters. Fire trucks and police vans pulled up on the corner of Broadway and Liberty St. at about 8.30 a.m. and asked the Occupy Wall Street protesters to bring the items to them, saying they were a health and fire hazard. "They made an announcement on a bullhorn saying: 'We are here to take the generators, could you please bring them up to us on the corner of Broadway and Liberty Street'," said James Bennett, a member of the information working group. When no one from Occupy Wall Street surrendered the generators, more than 20 uniformed FDNY and NYPD officials entered the park to seize them, witnesses said. The protesters say five generators were seized in total, including one which was biodiesel and ran on used vegetable oil. Read more: http
